After my time in the service I worked as a commercial diver, specializing in advanced dive medicine. I inspected tugboats, pipelines, and also got into structural repairs for pools. From there, I branched out into residential construction where I found an interest in laying tile. I worked various other positions within the construction community but tile was my specialty.
